• The UL HPC platform is physically distributed in 2 geographic sites, located as follows:
  • the Kirchberg Campus of the University of Luxembourg, located in Luxembourg city, hosts the Chaos and the G5K clusters;
  • the Belval site located in the south of the country in Esch-sur-Alzette.
  Since March 2017, we moved to the new campus in Belval where we have the opportunity to deploy and relocate the main HPC facility in the new server rooms offered within the “Maison du Savoir”, more precisely in the Centre de Calcul (CDC) S-02. A new cluster named Iris is being installed.
